Hey folks.
A new Sked Page facility has been added to the forum, you can find it by following the "Sked Page" tab at the top of each page of the forum, or if you are using a mobile phone to view the site then look for the "Sked Page" link in the drop down menu.
The Sked Page can be used to let other members know what frequency you are active on, and what mode you are using etc.
If you click on the "Sked Page" tab (or the "Sked Page" menu link on mobiles), the Sked Page opens on its own page. If you like there is also the choice to have the Sked Page running in its own popup box. To do this simply click on the symbol that looks like a square with an arrow pointing to the upper right ( this button can be found at the top right of the Sked Page).
To use the Sked Page simply enter your QSO details (example posts are shown on the Sked Page top header), and then either press enter/return on your keyboard, or else click on the megaphone (bullhorn) symbol located to the right hand side of the text box that you used to enter your QSO sked details.
The page automatically refreshes every 60 seconds.
Sked Page Login :- There is no separate Sked Page login, though you do need to be a registered member of the forum in order to use the Sked Page, and you will need to be signed in to the forum in order to post skeds.
Sked Page Signup :- As mentioned above, the Sked Page is part of the Ham Radio Forum, to register simply click on the "Register" or "Sign Up" links around the site.
Sked Page App :- There is no need for a separate Sked Page App due to it being a part of the forum itself. The forum has been specially designed to be friendly to mobile phones, tablets, and PCs. So you can run the Sked Page on your mobile phone just as though it were an app, either running the Sked Page as a web page, or as a popup. You can also install the forum itself as a Progressive Web App (PWA) by clicking on the link that will show up at the very bottom of the drop down menu when using a mobile phone. This will also allow notifications if you allow them.
Don't forget to tell your friends, the more stations that use the Sked Page the more useful it will be for everyone!
