Many years ago I remember watching this episode and thinking how fascinating it was. Fast forward LOTS of years and I still haven't changed my mind.

I just watched the whole episode, never heard of this show before. Fascinating indeed, amazing the part about the radio business where you had limited battery life and you had to choose which programs to listen for the week.

Wonderful show, entertaining and educative, so different from todays shows, all aiming just for profit at all costs. Good thing we have youtube to watch these magnificent programs from the past.

Agreed, that was a very well explained piece of television, certainly more informative that much of the infomercial style output that's on today. Will definitely need to take time to watch other episodes in the series too.
