Is there any reason that you need the full manual? I have a Ten-TecT1253 myself, and I also have the manual for it. Much of the manual is concerned with the building of the T1253, so unless you have a kit to build it's a bit boring to read
I had a good look around the web for one, but it seems that they are like hens teeth - rare!
If you are really keen to get the full one I could scan mine, but as there are so many pages to it I thought I would check back with you first as to how much of it you really require i.e. is it just the circuit diagram and setup info you need etc.
Hi Mark,
I have T1253 (from eBay) and his schematic only. I`m looking (badly) for a complete manual and I realy need it.
The manual very hard to have - its really rare. Maybe, you are My last chance!
Regards & best 73 Dov.
OK OM, I will dig my scanner out and scan the manual (just give me a day or two). It looks as if the 'World' needs a copy
I came across a number of guys looking for copies, but no one replied to them.
The Ten-Tec T1253 seems like a great little set. I bought mine new in kit form, and I still haven't opened it yet! Maybe it will be a good project for when I retire
There are quite a few videos of the Ten-Tec T1253 in operation on YouTube.
Hi Mark,
Many thanks, in advance, for the T1253 manual. This Rx, IMHO, is very good start to learn regen receiver theme. On the russian ham radio forum site I`ve found two main topics: one is regens based on transistors and the second- on tubes. Its very interesting how they took the oldest schematics and improve them.
On YouTube one interesting version its WBR receiver by N1BYT whith good "old" sound. Dont wait for a retirement, act now
Regards,
Dov aka 4Z5NU 73!
