These keys pop up all over the place in various, though very similar guises. Normally supplied with Electronics Labs or similarly named sets for children, these keys have been around for years.
Essentially this is a strap key on a plastic base, with a paper legend giving all of the needed information for the primary characters used in Morse Code. Connections ar made via the spring connectors at the rear of the key, wires are simply 'trapped' in these springs to locate them.
For what is essentially a toy Morse Key from a cheap toy they actually key quite well!
