I've made a small change to my Kent Two which will make it easier to switch between the paddles and the straight key.
As my radio sits in a corner under a computer monitor, getting to the back to unplug one key lead and plug another one in is not very easy. This means that I prefer to leave that end of the key cable plugged into the rig.
However, the Kent Two came with two cables which I had originally put 2 3.5mm stereo jacks on, which made this impossible.
I bought a few panel mount flying leads with 3.5mm stereo sockets on them, and cut them to length. I attached them to the contacts on the base of the key/paddle instead of the cables which were there originally, leaving me with the setup in the attached picture.
It's only a small thing, but it now lets me change between the key and paddle at the key end rather than at the radio end, and it makes things a little less awkward for me.
