Phoenix kits

Phoenix kits seem to have expanded their product range, and it now looks like they are taking over Kanga kits UK.

I've been impressed with their morse tutor, and it would be good to see Kanga resurrected. I have one of the Kanga FOXX CW transceivers, which fits in a mint tin.

I've been keeping an eye on Kanga https://www.kanga-products.co.uk/ for some time.

I think it was March/April of this year the "closed due to Covid" notice became:-
We are sorry to say to our customers old and new that we have taken the decision to Retire. This due to continued ill health from Arthritis which is not getting any better. In the meantime we will prepare the business for sale.
As soon as I saw the Phoenix kits appear on there I guessed that Paul, G0BNM had purchased the name/company.

I had my LNR Precision rigs from Kanga, and a keyer interface too. They (Dennis, G6YBC) were always very helpful with any inquiries no matter how trivial (or in depth).

Lets hope that level of service continues.

Yes indeed, Paul M0BMN has bought Kanga kits, he's just sorting through loads of boxes packages and mountings of stuff! he recently told me (Paul is a personal friend) that he hopes to have Kanga up and running early in the new year, but things could delay depending on unforeseen things in the near future, regards John M0CDL
