There are a number of options available for the Elecraft K1, my own K1 has the back-lit display mod, the internal battery case mod, and covers four of the HF Amateur Bands: 40m - 30m - 20m - 15m.
The Elecraft K1 QRP Transceivers have keyer units built in as standard and a simple message memory so that you can pre-record a CQ call etc.
It is also possible to have a fully functioning auto antenna tuner module fitted, though mine at the moment does not (I'm saving my pennies for one though!)
With the Elecraft K1 QRP Transceiver it is possible to pre-set no less than three filter bandwidths for receive, so as the going gets tough you just press and hold the filter button momentarily and hey presto, you switch to your next selected bandwidth.
If you could have only one QRP radio then make it an Elecraft K1, they are simply superb!
