These tutors come up for grabs from time to time on various online auction sites, but they are not the best, and I doubt if I would ever recommend buying one.

The overall finish is excellent, but when it comes to function the form is no compensation for the lack of ease of useability. These tutors were 'born' in an age when folks were quite happy to enter a whole bunch of assorted key presses to get the item they wanted. But in a modern world this really grates on the nerves after a very short while.

These units will only run from an external power source, so you are tied to a mains adapter while using the tutor. Another real issue with these is the very high level of audio, it's just too loud.

If you happen to have the accompanying instruction sheet with these then most of the key sequences will make sense, but without them there is little info on the case legend to explain exactly what "Beginners Course" or "Training Course" for example are about.

It's presented here as an example of what could have been a great idea gone badly wrong!
