Begali Signature

Hi Folks,
I have finally decided after much consultation with Bruna at Begoli's that I am going to purchase a Begali Signature with the pallatium plating and black aluminum perforated finger pieces.  :o I am just throwing this out because I have actually lost sleep trying to figure which key I was going to acquire.  I have had a 10-year hiatus from code but have been practicing and will continue to practice until May when I will acquire my rig.  Probably an ICOM 7300. I plan to stay off phone ops probably about 90% of the time.  I hope to develop a good fist so I won't be considered a "lid". Ham radio has been part of my life since I was 14 and now an old man of 71.  :-*. I really love CW and how it was a great part of my enjoyment of radio when Novices could not use voice for any communication and had to use crystal frequencies.  Kind Elmers would dip into the Novice frequencies to QSO with me and send me QSL cards.  I didn't know how they got my information back then as I did not send them my address?! All I know is that I received kind remarks and great constructive criticism about my signal and telegraphy.  I am hoping to do this when I get back on the air to this new generation of hams who have embraced CW.  Just wanted to ramble and throw out my thoughts as I am getting back into the hobby. 73 to you all.

Congrats.  Just read your QRZ page.  ;D. I spent today on a farm shooting pistols, rifles and shotguns with my son.  Ham radio during lunch break.  CW of course.
