If you've decided to join our growing Ham Radio Forum community that's great! Please note though that you MUST use your genuine email address when registering for an account because you will be sent an email (automatically) by the forum. The email will contain a link that you will need to click on in order to verify your email address. Once you have verified your account in this way you will be added to the moderation que. Once your account has been approved by an administrator you will then be a full member and will be able to start new threads, answer or post replies to threads, upload images and so on.
We do not allow self validation of accounts as this not only allows 'bots' and various other rogue agents to gain access, but we want to ensure that the site remains safe and enjoyable for everyone.
The moderation que for pending approvals is checked on a regular basis, at least once a day but very often (time permitting) far more frequently, possibly several times a day or more.
We hope you understand why we have had to introduce this safeguard and look forward to joining our community.
